Driver MFT failed to work in Windows 8 Release Preview(Build 8400) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm able to get the latest version of driver MFT(5/31/2012) sample to work on Consumer Preview build but not the Release Preview build . My system already run in test mode, 64-bit version of SampleMft0.dll already registered and placed in C:\Program Files\SampleMft0, added a CameraPostProcessingPluginCLSID value into registry as shown in attached picture.

So, what else I've missed out?

    Regards,

    Kok Ann

  • Did you reboot after enabling test signing?

  • Yes, I did. "Test Mode" is displayed at the bottom right of the desktop.

  • What Eric mentioned is enabling test signing, which has to be done in a command window. Open up an elevated command window, then type "bcdedit -set testsigning on", and then reboot.

In addition, if the app you are using is 32-bit, you will also need to register the 32-bit version of SampleMft0.dll.

    Thanks,
