Why wont touch input single click? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have installed windows 8 on a touch enable pc and the touch input works great for panning and doing some things, but it cannot click buttons or select aps. I can see the circle on the screen when I touch it but it does not register as a click?

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be? I have a Lenovo T400s.

It works inside apps like the piano, and partially in paint (it lets me paint and open the options to pick marker size but it wont select the option when i click it).

Update: I just tried Visual Studio 2011 and Blend 5 and the touch clicks work perfectly in there, it is just not calibrated well, but I cannot calibrate because the calibration tool does not get touch clicks registered.
