Two tables side-by-side on one screen possible? RRS feed

  • Question

  • In an old Winforms project, there is one screen with two datagrids side-by-side.  Looks like so:

Two datagrids, two tables as their data source.

Is this type of functionality available in Lightswitch?  I found this but I think that's the same table displayed multiple times.

    Thanks.

  • Yes, you can add as many grids to a screen as is practically possible. The default screen templates don't support this at screen creation time, but once the screen is created with the first query and grid you can add additional queries and grids. You can use a columns layout group with two columns to hold the two grids side by side. Hope that helps.
