How to pass USB Topology Compatibility Test (WHCK) with USB 2.0 DUT RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I've a USB 2.0 DUT which I want to test using the WHCK with Windows 8 x64 as client.

I have a problem with the USB Topology Compatibility test.

When attaching the USB 3.0 hub (TI development board) 2 hubs appear:
    1. Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub
    2. Generic USB Hub

Once I connect the DUT it is detected up as expected under the Generic USB as it is an USB 2.0 device.

However the test expects it to be detected behind SuperSpeed Hub behind XHCI.

In the past this was part of an errata filter but not anymore. I've imported the filters of October 16, 2013.

Is it possible to pass this test with an USB 2.0 device?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dennis
