How to set database configuration when deploying application on vs2012 to iis localhost

I have been trying with some tutorial but I am not getting it right.

I get the error when I try to view any page that as connections to the database

Win32Exception (0x80004005): The network path was not found]

Thanks for your response. But I am little confused reading this documents.

I read in a microsoft post that says to publish an asp.net on the local iis. That we need to download and install SQLExpress 2012, cos the local iis is not configured to host a db.

I have tried to download it but installing is an issue cos it is asking for Windows 7 SP1 which is not on my system.

An error occurred while getting provider information from the database. This can be caused by Entity Framework using an incorrect connection string

I think your database connection string is incorrecct. Please try to connect to your database refer your connection string and check the result.
