how to create columns in sharepoint 2010 RRS feed

  • Hi iamm newbie to sharepoint . Iam using sharepoint 2010 and

    The project will be to create an SharePoint application, which will have 3 inputs

     

    1)      Name

    2)      Address

    3)      Date of birth

     

    Once the information is stored, Just try to show the same as output too. How can i do this . Thanks in advance

  • Do you want to show the Name, Address and DOB in a form library. Using infopath to create the form go to tools > form options > property promotion. Then click on Add and select the fields you want shown in your form library. Now if you want to make those fields editable from the form library columns with out opening the form. During the publishing phase you will see a place you can add columns to your form library. Here you would select the column then choose modify and then check the box that states "Allow users to edit data in this field by using a a datasheet or properties page.
