Localized command key binding scope names for LCID

    Question

  • Could you please anyone provide a list of localized command key binding scope names in relation to all supported language packs for visual studio?
They are necessary for work with key bindings in extensions.

Let's say that I have LCID 1033, which is English U.S., so I have scopes:
Text Editor; General ... and so on.

Then for example I would have Spanish IDE and scopes:
Editor de texto; General ... and so on.

    In French:
Éditeur de texte; Général ... and so on.

    Does exist such database?
    Could you please provide it?

I would imagine it to be like:
    1033;Text Editor;General;...
    1034;Editor de texto;General;...

  • Hi Dušan Paulovič,

Do you want to change language for your Visual Studio with some shortcuts based on the LCIS id?

As far as I know, we often change Visual Studio language through Tools -> Options -> Environment -> International Settings. Before change this setting, please install the Visual Studio 2015 language Pack.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48157

Please tell us where you will input the command key to open the Visual Studio in assigned language.

If misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,
    Weiwei
