Storage Account Pricing For Azure Recovery Services

    Question

  • I'm trying to calculate the pricing for azure recovery services.

Pricing will include cost of (protected instances + Storage )

I've already calculated cost of the protected instances.

Now, for the storage account type , in the pricing portal,  which one should i use? Block Blob or Page blob and disk ?

I'm pretty sure i have to go for page blob as recovery services will have to store the .vhd file and make changes to it during replication.

    Can you please confirm above

  • hi,

hot blob storage is indeed best option if you want to fail-over and keep it running there with best performance.

refer to Azure Storage pricing per region
