Dig out an USB printer's COMMAND SET RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

    I have an USB printer (bInterfaceClass= 0x07) connected to my OS (Win7 x64 ulti sp1), and would like to extract its COMMAND SET from USB's depths. It is an answer field on Get_Device_ID (bRequest= 0x00), and something similar string like this:

    MFG:My Printer Company;
    MDL:Model 5T;
    CMD:MLC,PCL,PML;
    DESCRIPTION:My Printer Company Laser Printer 5T;
    CLASS:PRINTER;
    REV:1.3.2;

    "CMD" there (COMMAND SET's abbreviated form) is the only important to me. Is it possible to obtain this information on Windows API level?
