Any Idea why the exception is coming? RRS feed

  • I have a vb.net exe, build in VS2005,Windows XP SP3, 32 bit. I'm running that in Windows7 professional, 64 bit. I dont have any clue, why the exe is not running. Can any give a idea about this?

  • The issue comes if you are running a .NET Application which is using some other components which are not compatible with 64bit. You can try the below option.

     

    -Make sure your application uses all 64bit if possible

    -If you still need to work with 32 bit components make sure your project is compiled and build with x86 CPU. Just check the project properties and make sure you target to 32 bit.
