    HI All,

Ours is a Xamarin.Forms app. I have installed mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. What will be the minimum Visual Studio 2019 (windows) version that needs to be installed to match the Xamarin.iOS version that is supported by this mac OS version?

Is there any link that has this information? Would be great if I can check this information in any link.

Have had this question always during app updates...!!

The release notes will announce it like this one: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/releases/2019/release-notes-v16.2#ios

I think one possible way is to check the Xamarin.iOS release notes that shows which minimum version of macOS it requires : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/xamarin/ios/release-notes/14/14.4

Would be great if there is a link with some table on these important specifications / matching versions of macOS, visual studio, xCode, Xamarin.iOS... I hope all developers will agree this..

But still appropriate Windows visual studio 2019 version cant be matched..

I now decided to go latest version for ALL... (><)

Xamarin iOS requires the XCode to be compatible. So the release note will list the requirements for XCode and the corresponding MacOS. We could also separately install the Xamarin iOS version on Mac from here: https://github.com/xamarin/xamarin-macios/releases Click it to view all the packages:
