    How will the following syntax in C# framwork 1.1?
    public event EventHandler<IndexEventArgs> DisabledItemSelected;

    What is the <> symbol in framework 2.0 and after?

    Generics are a new feature in version 2.0 of the C# language and the common language runtime (CLR).

    So C# framwork 1.1, there is no Generics.

    Actually it is for Disabling Item in a ListBox.
    Shoud just use this:
    public event EventHandler  DisabledItemSelected;

    No need to use the <IndexEventArgs>!
