Odata SSIS Dynamics CRM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, Can anyone help please?

I am attempting to extract data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM into SQL Server 2016. I have set up an Odata connection, but when I set up the Odata source nothing is returned in the Collection, it thinks about it for a long time and will stop with the message 'Unable to load collection for the connection...'. I am using the url 'https://disco.crm4.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc?wsdl' which is specified from the Dynamics settings. I can get some data returned using the url 'https://disco.crm4.dynamics.com/api/discovery/v8.2/' in the Odata connection. The login I am using is the 'Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online' option. I have tried this with User access and Admin access with the same result. I have searched and found examples for the Northwind DB with SQL 2012 and others accessing SharePoint, but nothing for Dynamics and SQL 2016. Any guidance appreciated.

  • Hi Makka,

I'm currently working in a projet where I'm extracting data from Dynamics CRM.

So to achieve my goal, I'm using Dynamics CRM source of Cozyroc, and it is working fine.

Try to install the cozyroc components, it is very easy to use and manipulate.

  • Hi makka1,

you do not tell what version of MS Dynamics it is, so all the options to connect are aggregated in this article

  • Hi makka1.

Which version of OData are you using? Have you tried to use 32-bit runtime mode? Can you see the collection if you use the listdata.svc?
