cannot use the 2nd hard drive after installing the windows 8 preview...

    Question

  • After i installed the windows 8 developer preview,i've not been able to use my 2nd harddrive.

    The harddrive is listed by device manager but its not shown in MY COMPUTER.

    Please someone help...

    Sounds like there's no drive letter assigned to the drive. Try this:

    1. Press the Windows key and the R key.
    2. Type diskmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
    3. Find the disk that doesn't have a drive letter assigned.
    4. Right-click the drive and then click Change drive letter and paths.
    5. Assign a drive letter.
