Default directory for reading data from a text file? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Currently I am using the following command for a text data file.

    FileStream fleReader = new FileStream("c:/graph.txt", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read);

    If I were to replace "c:/graph.txt" with "graph.txt" where would I place my graph.txt file? I need the relative path.

    The reason I ask this is that I am checking in my code to a revision control system and other people are working from the files. When they check out the code it may be to different directories than I am using and I don't want them to manually copy this file over.

    Thanks in advance.
