My BizSpark account is gone... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Today my BizSpark account was gone when I tried to logon.

    I only get:

    Account Not Available

Your account is currently not available. If you have questions, please contact bizspark@microsoft.com.

And on my MSDN account I get this message:

    Status: Other

    Expires on 4/26/2013

I have not got any e-mails about this, and I don't know why my account is expired two months before the expiration date. and why my account is completely gone. I remember that I had a similar issue some years ago, but don't remember how I got it solved.

Anybody from Microsoft that works this weekend who can take a look on this issue?

Answers

  • I have to thank Microsoft for very fast help on this issue. Both my BizSpark and MSDN account is back online. I have removed two members, so I have reduced the numbers of generated keys with 50%.

A reminder that it's not a good idea to generate all keys on BizSpark accounts. Only generate keys you really need or have plans to use within a short time.

Regardless, thank you Microsoft for fast help this weekend.

  • I got reply from BizSpark. My account was closed down because I had generated to many keys. (500+)(from 2010 to now). They opened my BizSpark account, but not my MSDN account.

I have told them that I can remove some of my members so the total numbers of generated keys drops. No reply yet, but I hope they will solve this.
