ListView bottom items is not visible

    Question

  • I have a ListView that contains a chat message, however because my ListView display all the messages and its usually reachs more than 40,000 messages, some of the messages in the bottom of the ListView is not displayed. I can not see the messages, but the ScrollViewer surely allocates spaces for the message.

    Why?

    Thanks

  • Are you saying that you can't scroll down to see them? If you put them explicitly in a scrollviewer, can you see them? You also might be running out of graphical space that the ListView can access. I think virtualization would probably be a good route for this issue.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
