Does WorkflowInvoker work with asynchronous activities as well? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

Does WorkflowInvoker work with asynchronous activities as well? Let's for instance assume the root activity is a sequence actitivity and one of its activities is some kind of asynchronous activity. In this case the WorkflowInvoker.Invoke should not return until the sequence is complete including potentially asynchronous sub-activities.

  • Yes, WorkflowInvoker.Invoke does not return until the activity you are running has completed (in this case your root Sequence, which will not complete until all it's children have completed).
