  • No, it is not possible. The Kudu site itself runs as an Azure WebApp (like a special site). The main difference is that the Kudu site is being given access to the files of the real site, allowing it to publish to it.  it is a single tenant rather than multi-tenant service. Kindly take a look at the Kudu architecture for details.

    Based on your requirement, if you wish you could leverage REST API. This API is accessed the same way as the git endpoint. e.g. if your git URL is https://yoursite.scm.azurewebsites.net/yoursite.git, then the API to get the list of deployments will be https://yoursite.scm.azurewebsites.net/deployments.

    Authentication is via basic auth. The credentials you use are the same as when you git push. See REST API.
