Microsoft.Windows.Design.Platform.SilverlightMetadataContext.SilverlightXamlExtensionImplementations.<GetXmlNamespaceCompatibilityMappings>d__8.MoveNext()

Question

I have VS2010  with  Silverlight4_Tools.

After installing Silverlight 5 (Client Profile), i have this message in design view in my project on silverlight 4: 

System.NullReferenceException Object reference not set to an instance of an object   Microsoft.Windows.Design.Platform.SilverlightMetadataContext.SilverlightXamlExtensionImplementations.<GetXmlNamespaceCompatibilityMappings>d__8.MoveNext()........and so on

Please help me! How can i solve this problem?

Hi Art80

 

It seems you upgraded your version of silverlight to Silverlight 5. if so

you may need to Uninstall silverlight 5 and 4 then  Install SilverLight 4 developer runtime at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=188039.

Hi Sir,

I Also got the same error.

I Uninstalled the 5.0 and then 4.0 also.

When i try to open SL Application with 3.0, again im getting the same error in Designer window..

What to do...???

Please Help me....!!!

I had the same problem and for me downloading and installing the Silverligth version 4.1 was what it works!
