  • This isn't a WebMatrix forum.  This is the Expression Web forum.

  • This isn't the place for WebMatrix questions but I can give you some pointers.

The WebMatrix install includes IIS Express and WM will use this rather than IIS itself. When you preview a site in WM using the Run menu and select the browser you want to use, WM will start IIS Express and open the file in the browser. It normally does this using a port in the range 6xxx, like http://localhost:6123.

So, I'm wondering whther you are launching the preview from the Run menu?

  • Curiosity compels me to ask, what made you think that a forum named "Expression Web and SuperPreview" would be an appropriate place to ask about issues with WebMatrix?

    cheers,
    scott
