Hiding/Showing Data Cells when expanding / collapsing Matrix rows

Hi,

I have matrix setup which has 3 data cells (textbox1, textbox2 & textbox3).  Is it possible to hide textbox1 & textbox2 when the matrix firsts loads (and is also in its fully collapsed state).  When the user starts drilling down, I would then like to hide textbox3 and then only show textbox1 and textbox2....

Hi,

To show/hide any text box you can use the hide property of the TextBox. For your situation, you need to have something which will tell you when you want to show/hide the text box (Except the condition you said). For example something which is having value for only textbox1 and no value for other two text boxes and vice versa. So based on this condition you can write your expreesion in Hide property of the TextBox.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.  Are  you able to post an example of how I might write an expression to do this? What Im trying to do is hide columns when the matrix loads and only display these hidden columns when the first row group is expanded.
