It is not possible to update the external site field without some help from the external site page like the page has to process one of this:

Process the QueryString as Request.QueryString["Text"] where Text is being passed as http://URL?Text=YourText

Process the Request.Form Variable as Request.Form["Text"] where you are posting your form contents to the external site. This involves updating the Action attribute of the Form <form action="ExternalSiteURL">

    Hello,

As Vijay said,if you want to transfer data for your site to the other, the other site should take the data and process it. if it is not ready to do that then the requirement cannot be achieved from your side.

Query string is the easiest option to transfer data between websites. And also the other possibility is to use webservices. Take a look at the following tutorial....

    Hope this helps you out...

    Thanks.

when you say transfer, do you mean directly post to the external site, or you need the data then submit to the external site?
