    while i was enabling iis and its related component for sql server 2005 on windows7 . i did not get windows authentication in security. please hepl me to get this.

    Hello,

    Windows authentication is not available on IIS if you have one of the following editions of Windows 7: Home Basic, Home Premiun, Starter Edition.

    You won’t be able to install features of SQL Server that require IIS, like Reporting Services.
