According to your description, this issue is a known issue, you could try below workaround:

    - Insert a GIF-image/png (with transparent background) into Word.
    - Right-click the image in Word and copy it.
    - Paste it in Access in a form (design state).
    - Right-click the image in Access and set backgroundcolor to transparent.

In addition if you have any feedbacks for Access, please feel free to submit them to User Voice:

    Thanks for your understanding.

  • Grateful for your response and interest, but that solution is to place PNG / GIF gifht-image / png transparency in buttons, wallpapers (design state) and we perform such tests but does not work in VARIABLE DATA HANDLING records with photographs to PNG printing / import to pdfs, told him that these record containing name, last name, ID, birth date, and a photo etc ... and are contained in a database empleados.mdb a field with a location address a folder containing files into PNG, clarify the application and perform with .JPG files and works perfectly but when used with TRANSPARENT happens .PNG files explained above, I send a picture as an example to see if clear my explanation. ... aahhh and you put it in http://access.uservoice.com/
