HTML Help Workshop doesn't play flash

Question

hi all..

i am developing a project using VS.NET 2003 (C#). i want to add help file using the HTML Help Workshop. well, everything is going just so fine except one thing.

in the html files i want to add flash (.*swf) . in the .html file itself the flash is showed very well, but when the html opened in the help file the flash doesn't shown.

anyhelp ?

Hello Obnoxious,

 

some applications/controls/technologies cannot read files embedded inside a CHM file.

 

Rob Chandler (www.helpware.net) found, if one left the Camtasia HTML, XML, SWF outside the CHM and dynamically created a path to this external HTML (see download example above) then you could in fact make the Camtasia Flash run inside the HH window (or use Target="_blank" and make it open in a separate IE window).
