Reporting Services Configuration Problem on Database Server RRS feed

I recently installed Reporting services on one my my PC's with no problems, however on another PC when I got to the Database section I'm getting the following error: "Could not connect to server: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQLserver.  The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (Provider: Named Pipes Provider, error:40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)".  I'm using the default server name (machine name) and setting Authentication Type as Current User -Integrated Security and I've tried both Creating a new report server database and Choose an Existing Report Server Database but get the same error.  Would appreciate if someone could get me started on some areas I can check to resolve this issue.

Resolved, just a syntax problem, need to enter a slash and then the instance of the db.
