    I have a picture in the MS Sql database on the server.

    Now i would like to download

    this ( I will not to display it on the Browser)

    How could be the Solution look like?

    Don't save files on database, create direcroties on web server and save only the string where the image is. Then ask me I'll help u with Download ok?

    It depends on what he is doing.

    If it is images for the web site it's self then I would agree with you as it would be over kill, but it it is content such as scanned documents then I don't see a problem.

    For a example of a live site which loads it's images from a SQL 2000 database have a look at TerraServer http://research.microsoft.com/~Tbarclay/TerraServer.asp
