You can add the config file to ClassLibrary project itself

    Hi zipzazoom,

The helper project is provider server for other project, besides which project will consumer this service?

The app.config file need to place in the consumer project.

Hoping my reply could be helpful to you.

    Best regards,

The GAC is part of the CLR and used to share libraries across several applications on a computer.  Therefore, the config nodes required by the shared library must exist in the application that is consuming the shared the GAC resource.
