Exception when testing deployed DCS service in CCF 2009 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have enabled DCS services in CCF 2009 SP1.  AgentDesktop is working fine using Discovery Services.

    I created and deployed a WeatherInformationService (Implementing a Service by using a specific workflow in SP1 Dev Guide, ) to IIS in VS2008.

    I was unable to browse the service as no web.config created during the deployment.

    I created the web.config using WCF Service Cofiguration Editor in VS2008 so that I can browse the service.

    I created a test program to consume the service, code piece as following:

    WeatherInformationSR.WeatherInformationServiceClient client =
     new TestWeatherInformationService.WeatherInformationSR.WeatherInformationServiceClient();

    WeatherInformationSR.GetWeatherRequest request =
     new TestWeatherInformationService.WeatherInformationSR.GetWeatherRequest();

    request.CityName = "Melbourne";

    WeatherInformationSR.GetWeatherResponse response = client.GetTemperature(request);

    int temp = response.Temperature;

    I received an exception when the code hit: client.GetTemperature(request);

    The exception is occurred at following call in WeatherInformationService.cs (created by WeatherInformationBLSpecific project)

    return new TaskFactory<WeatherInformation.WeatherInformationMessages.GetWeatherRequest, WeatherInformation.weatherInformationMessages.GetWeatherResponse>().Invoke(OperationContext.Current.IncomingMessageHeaders.Action, request);

    Exception message: An error occurred in a DCS server component

    Inner Exception message: A request for an unknown service was received.

    method name at that time: GetTask

    Here is the exception info from WCF Test Client:

    An error occurred during the execution of the WeatherInformationService task.

    Any help will be appreciated!
