xlDialogSendMail arguments RRS feed

  • Question

  • xlDialogSendMail shows three documented arguments (recipients, subject and return_receipt) but 30 arguments show up in the list when typing in the VBA code window. Does anyone know what the other 27 undocumented arguments are?

  • Those 30 arguments are generic. Regardless of which dialog you specify, IntelliSense will show 30 arguments with the generic names Arg1 to Arg30. The actual number of the arguments and their names is given in the documentation (Built-In Dialog Box Argument Lists)

  • Thank you, Hans, that makes sense (though I was hoping that there might be a few more options - like body text - that just weren't documented).
