I have VS 2010 installed. As you may know, it installs SQL Express along w/ an instance.

I would like to add SQL Management Studio w/o having to create a new instance. Can some explain how I can do this please?

Or am I forced to 'Perform a new installation of SQL Server 2008' , specify a free edition 'Express w/ Advanced Service'?

Hi,

You can install only Management Studio Express, if you want and without install a new instance of SQL server.
