Remove (A) (B) (C) from menu item RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

on WM6, when using another alphabet than occidental (i.e russian) in menu item text, the system always add a "(A)", "(B)", "(C)" ... at the end.

I read this are supposed to be keyboard shortcuts. I would like to remove these from the menu. How?

    Hope someone can help. Thanks.

  • Hi,

It does not provide any short cuts when you use english. It happens only when you use different languages.  I dont think its possible to remove from CF.

You may get option with native code.

Or you can make a list box with list of items( instead  of menu items) and display this list when user clicks on main menu.

  • Hi lmira,

I am also agree with Malleswar for the same "I dont think its possible to remove from CF."

If it is necessary then you have to develop your own custom menu.

    Hope this may be help.
