Pulling data from Salesforce with sql RRS feed

    When I pull data from salesforce with the datatype reference into sql in comes in as string but this is the result:

    001E000001UOlZkIAL

    In salesforce its a name like John Doe.

    How can I convert it back to a readable format?

    Your question is predicated on having a familiarity with salesforce, how its data is actually structured, and the actual technique you are using to "pull data". Perhaps posting your question in a salesforce forum might be a more productive path.
