Rehosted Workflow designer does not parse using clauses RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have created a WPF application with a rehosted workflow designer.

However what I'm finding is that when I attempt to use types from System namespace without using fully qualified name, I get errors saying that type is missing or is not defined.

And my using tab has System namespace defined.

  • Hi Yuk,

    Thank you for your response.

This is funny that you have referred me to the thread that was asked by myself over 7 years ago :)

I have already attempted what was suggested in that thread, however it is a different story this time. I'm not attempting to add additional assemblies, the problem I am having now is much simpler.

Rehosted WF designer does not resolve types that are in system dlls (GAC) - these are not custom types or types in external assemblies - these are pure System.dll types.
