Upgrade from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2014 Express

Question

Hallo Guys!

I have a question.

I like to Upgrade SQL Server 2008 STANDARD to SQL Server 2014 Express is that possible?

Always get the following error: SQL SERVER 2014-Functionsupgrade error!

DEUTSCH: SQL Server 2014-Funktionspgrade

Everything runs fine till the Step: "SQL Server 2014-Functionsupgrade"

What can i do can someone help me?

SQL-Express hat weniger Features als SQL-Standard.
Installiere SQL-Express als neue Instanz, sichere deine Datenbank im SQL-Server und stelle sie in Express wieder her.
Denke dabei daran, dass SQL-Express auf 10GB beschränkt ist.

Siehe Supported Version and Edition Upgrades; In-place Migration Standard => Express ist nicht supported, das geht nur als Side-by-Side Migration, sprich Express als neue Instanz installieren, dann die Datenbank und User manuell übernehmen.
