Link a new open opportunity to a closed oportunity. RRS feed

  • Does anyone know how to link a new opportunity in Dynamics CRM 4.0 back to a closed/won opportunity? We have "service" opportunites where we do design work and assessments that do not include prodcut sales but the service itself is a sale and an opportunity. Once we win (or lose) we close the oportunity. Ideally, actual work will be done as a result of our design or assessment wherein actual pridcuts sets will need to be purchased to complete the work and we want to win this business also. Ideally, we would like to associate these new product opportunities that were actually driven by the service opportunity and then do a metrics, tracking, etc.
