CRM Sync Error RRS feed

  • Frage

  • We are using CRM 4.0 Update Rollup 7 on a SQL 2008 Standard 64Bit on a Windows 2008 Standard 64bit server.  Firewall is turned off for troubleshooting purposes.  The users are getting the error "A SQL Server error occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the microsoft dynamics CRM community for solutions or contact your organizations Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator.  Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.
We are using CRM for outlook Update 7 with Vista XP Pro 32 bit on outlook 2007.  Did some research but cannot find a solution.  I recently performed a successful CRM 4.0 migration from one server to another.

    Thanks in Advance.

  • We had to reapply the CRM update 7 after I brought the databases over from the old server. My issue was that I installed update 7 before the database reattach and didnt install it afterwards.  Once i reapplied the update 7 to the reattached database I was golden (at least for now.)

    Hope this helps

  • Hi Len, there is a problem with the sync and the ru7. You should open a call by microsoft to get the hotfix from there.

  • Hi all,

we are having the same error at a customers environment.
@Michael: Do you know if the hotfix is a server or client hotfix? And if the hotfix is included in UR8? Or is the hotfix available for public download anywhere?

@Len: Could you resolve the problem? If yes, what have you done?

    Thanks for your answers!

  • Hello,

we also seem to have the same problem.
For me it would be enought to know the KB-Number of this Fix to look for it on the premier support page.

Could anyone give me that KB?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hi there.

we got the same Sync-Error, and I tried to redploy RU7, but it failed with the following message:
"There is already an object named 'SubscriptionManuallyTrackedObject' in Database.

Don't know what to do now, maybe RU8 would be a good idea or not?

    Thanks in advance
