SQL Server 2008 installation bricht ab

Hallo !

ich versuche eine Installation eines SQL Server 2008 R2 auf WIN XP SP3 zu erstellen, leider bricht die installation mit folgender Fehlermeldung ab:

TITEL: SQL Server-Setupfehler.
------------------------------

Der folgende SQL Server-Setupfehler ist aufgetreten:

C:\WINDOWS\Installer\99532d.msi.

------------------------------
SCHALTFLÄCHEN:

OK
------------------------------

Leider kann ich hier keine Lösung finden!

Hallo FM66,

war das eine Developer oder Express Edition?

prüf bitte zunächst einmal die Windows Ergebnisanzeige, ob dort auffällige Einträge vorhanden sind.
Dann werden bei der Installation Log Dateien in einem Unterodner mit Timestamp im Verzeichnis "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log\" angelegt, die solltest Du auch mal sichten, ob dort was hilfreiches steht.

Hast Du auch das SP 1 für Visual Studio 2008 installiert? Siehe Visual Studio 2008 SP1 ist möglicherweise für SQL Server 2008-Installationen erforderlich

Das Problem hatte ich auch, da ich VS 2008 Express (VB) installiert hatte. Hatte es dann der einfachkeit halber vollständig deinstalliert, SQL 2008 drauf und danach wie VS 2008 Express installiert.
