Import Data Wizard

Question

In the Import Data wizard in the section " The wizard helps you"   There is a line of text that states the following " Enrich existing data by updating Microsoft  Dynamics CRM records that you previously exported to Microsoft Excel"

My thought is that the wizard can update existing CRM records but I do not know how to do this.  Any help will be appreciated.
