Neues [Silverlight 4 service release (September 2010)] erschienen.  
Für Entwickler, die Silverlight Applikationen erstellen, sind die neuen Developer-Bits und ein neues SDK hier erhätlich:

Download:

• Windows developer runtime  [Silverlight_Developer.exe]  <- Zuerst installieren!
  Dateiversion: 4.0.826.0
  Produktversion: 5.5.0031.0
  Größe: 8,16 MB
• Silverlight 4.0.50826.0 SDK  [silverlight_sdk.exe]  <- danach installieren
  Dateiversion: 9.0.50826.0
  Produktversion: 9.0.50826.00
  Größe: 13,2 MB

Die "Mac developer runtime" ist auch erneuert worden. Das Silverlight4_Tools.exe Paket braucht nicht neu installiert werden.

Das Update löst auch einige Probleme bei Visual Studio LightSwitch Beta.

Issues that are fixed by this update

Issue 1

This update improves the native extensibility of media stream source that uses the Silverlight technology and the Expression Encoder.

Issue 2

This update enables new Add Row functionality in the Silverlight DataGrid control. 

Issue 3

This update enables you to increase the isolated storage size through registry keys or Group Policy settings.

Issue 4

This update improves the startup performance of applications on a computer that enables the Silverlight technology. 

Issue 5

This update adds the mouse wheel support for out of browser applications on a computer that is running a Mac operating system.

Issue 6

This update resolves a security issue. Playback of PlayReady-protected content through a remote desktop connection or a terminal session is now disabled.

Issue 7

Fixed various memory leaks including:
