Dear Sir, I have a pickist of "Results". It has around 50 Values in it. I have manually added these 50 values in this piclist. This same picklist I want to use it into another entity.
So will I have to again enter 50 values manually in the new picklist or can I COPY/CLONE the Picklist into the other Entity? If so, Plz Guide. Also, what is the best way to accomplish this task.
Also, can I create a picklist from importing data from Excel?
you can try to export both entities. Then simply copy the values part of the first picklist from the first XML-file and insert it into the second XML-file. Finally you can import the second entity.
Importing data from Excel could work a similar way: You can export the values from Excel into a textfile (maybe you will have to add some more "source code" around the values. Then insert the exported values into the XML file of the target entity and re-import the XML-file.
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Nils
