CRM Local Data Groups

Frage
-
We are using CRM 4.0 update 6 and we have an employee who's crm contacts, that he is an owner for, gets sychronized to his outlook via local data groups. One of the employees started to but birthday's within the contacts in crm. now the birthdays show up on the employees outlook calendar. Do I just need to modify the "contact" local data group within theh CRM for outlook to exclude birthday's. Do I just need to specify "birthdays do not contain data". Not sure if this is the correct way to go about it.
Thanks in Advance
Len

Hi Len,
You can only customize which contacts wehre synchronized between CRM and outlook, not which fields in contacts.

Hi Len,
sorry, i don't know a way for that. The only way i know is to delete the birthdays from the calendar.

Hi Len,
just add a custom birthdate field to the contact and ignore the standard field.
