View issue in MS CRM RRS feed

  • Frage

  • Dear CRm Experts,

i am working in ms crm4.0. I have created a new entity and i have displayed in the Sales module.Actually for 5 entities i need the same form. So i have decided to make it simple and i have created  one form and by changing the "ID" in the XML file and i displayed in the newly  creatred module named "Asset Management" with different names with for same entity.

Now what i am facing an issue is, the default view is "Active Asset",But for every name(category) my view should be different
ie.If i am selecting Printer, i should display Printer related record in grid
If i am selecting Routers, i should display Routers related record in grid etc.

Now i have created a new views like Printer, Routers etc.

i am getting the filter records.but when i am clicking the navbar entity, i am facing the issue.I will get the default view.
Is it possible to capture the navbar ckick event using any script aor some other way..

    Please help me out.

    Regards

    Arun

  • Hi Arun,

if I undertand correctly, you have change the sitemap.xml to display the same entity more then once. Is this correct?
You can do this, but then you have the problems you write and in the future other problems with reports, im- and exports, and so on.

I would recommend that you inetegrate five different entities for the data.
