Notes stored in MS CRM

Question

Dear all,

i am working in ms crm 4.0. I need to know, when we are creating notes of each entity. whether it will store in each entity in the database or notes have separate entity.

When i am attaching some documents to the notes of account entity, where this document will store and in which format.

Can anyone please help me out..

Hi,

notes are stored in the entity annotation (See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb955813.aspx). The file content is stored in the documentbody attribute as Base64 encoded string.
