  • I've got an issue where I load CRM for Outlook on a clients PC and it degrads the performace with the following:

    ·         Very slow log in in the morning

    ·         Very slow to update folders – the hour glass appears for several minutes and I’m not able to work in outlook

    ·         Opening a new email to compose or replying to an existing email can take 10 – 15 seconds for the email to open

    Typing text in the body of an email is a challenge – the words don’t appear immediately or disappear immediately if I’m editing copy. It can take 7 – 10 seconds for outlook to catch up.

    but when i go in and disable the CRM plugin, the toolbar goes away and the user STILL can see CRM within outlook because the Microsoft.Crm.Application.Hoster.exe service is still running and Outlook runs GREAT along with the ability to brwose CRM within Outlook.  the only thing missing is the ability to "Track Emails" or use the toolbar itself.  it's good workaround for people who don't use the toolbar but some people do.

    It's when I enable the Toolbar, it slows down.
