  • Hi Ron,

    do you really want to change this in the account, not in the contact? The fields firstname and lastname are in the entity contact and there is a field named fullname with the firstname and lastname in it.

    To merge to fields into an new field you can use the following java-script

    crmForm.all.<new_field>.DataValue = crmForm.all.firstname.DataValue + ' ' + crmForm.all.lastname.DataValue;

  • Hi,

    you can post your english crm questions here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/crm/threads

    BTW: Instead of using JScript you can also use a PlugIn which is (when you able to develop on) normally the better approach.

    Best regards,
    Jürgen
