TFS Eclipse Plugin - Authentication failure

    Dotaz

  • Hello,

We are working with Eclipse Indigo SR2 with MS VS TFS plugin ver. 10.1.0.2011 installed. When I am using it with "Authenticate as currently logged-in user" option, everything is OK, but such approach is not aplicable when I am working from home over a VPN. In such case, when I am trying to authenticate with my explicit credentials, it fails and a message "Access denied connecting to TFS server our_TFS_URL (authenticating as MEDIUM\pmalis)" is shown. Several of my colleagues tried the same with positive results (and with their own credentials, of course) - the only difference seems to be in my password, which ends with a space. I suspect such password is transferred "trimmed" and hence invalid. I would like to know whether my suspicion is correct and if so, how to avoid it.

Mezera není prográmátorsky nejvhodnější znak na začátku ani na konci čehokoliv.

Jestli je to tím lehce vyzkoušíš sám.
