  • You'll have to do this manually for now. We are looking into tooling to help with this but I don't have timeline.

  • I have started using the following;

    https://github.com/VSChina/compose-to-manifest

    this is getting close to what I need, one issue that I am running into at this time is the container name. when I deploy the module the container name is the module name.

    so I am looking for a way to set the container name to be different from the module name.
    in docker-compose when you define a service you can set the container name
    container_name: name201805090000.999
    is there an equivalent setting in Manifest that one can use to set the name of the container for a module?

  • Hi frank3427,

    The module name is used as the container name, and there is no way to change this. If you want the container to be named something specific, you can use the same name for the module. Otherwise you should change your code to not require the container to have a specific name.
