How to reboot a VM ( testagent) under test using MTM. RRS feed

  • Question

  • We automated some coded ui tets related to product installation testing. After every test we need to rebood our test vm (test agent) to proceed with the following tests. All these tests are in a suite. But as soon as The first test runs and reboots the VM rest of the test's stop and are never executed. I tried playing around increasing agent / controlle timeout setting (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff934570.aspx)but it did not help.

We are using testing center, to run these tests. Does any have has resolution to this issue?

  • Hi,

Go to Windows Service, Stop service for "Agent" & if you want to restart it then just 'start' the agent service
